Dr. Janet S. Leith achieved her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Manitoba in 1992. She went on to receive additional training in the General Practice Residency at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal with McGill University from 1992 to 1993, where she gained invaluable experience caring for medically compromised patients, cancer and transplant patients, and in surgical and anesthesia procedures.
